Mei-Ling Dickson

Bsc (Podiatry) Curtin University

Mei-Ling is an experienced podiatrist who graduated from Curtin University, Western Australia, in 1994. She has worked in both the private and public health sectors for 30 years- initially in private practice in Perth and for the Armadale Kelmscott Hospital. In 1997 she moved to Mt Isa in QLD working privately and in conjunction with Mt Isa Mines. In 1998 she moved to the UK, spending 3 years working in both the NHS service and a 3 rd generation podiatry practise north of London.

Returning to Perth in 2001, She commenced working across multiple sites including Disability services, SJOG Mount Lawley Hospital and Private Practice. She has been exposed to a diverse workload and has broad experience across all competencies.

She has particularly skilled knowledge in the High-Risk Foot and Diabetes, Disability, Children, Indigenous health, Biomechanics, Dry Needling, and general clinical care.

Outside of her working life, Mei-Ling has a family with one son. She enjoys volunteering as an official and first aider in her son’s junior AFL community, previously participating herself in netball and basketball. She is now a passionate AFL and Basketball supporter and enjoys family, food and friends.
